This Privacy Policy explains how Wiggle Waggle Games ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and shares information when you use our mobile games, including Waddle Mart (together, the "Games"), and this website. By using our Games you agree to the practices described here.
The short version: we don't ask for your name, email address or account details to play. Our Games are free and show ads, which means our advertising partners (Google AdMob and Unity Ads) collect device identifiers and usage data so that ads can be served and measured. If you buy "Remove Ads", the payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google. You can limit ad tracking at any time from your device settings.
1. Information we collect
We do not require you to create an account and we do not knowingly collect information that identifies you by name. Your game progress is stored only on your device. Our advertising partners may automatically collect:
- Device identifiers: such as the Apple Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA), the Identifier for Vendors (IDFV), or the Google Advertising ID (AAID).
- Device and technical information: device model, operating system and version, language, time zone, screen size, and mobile carrier.
- Approximate location: country or city-level location inferred from your IP address. We do not collect precise GPS location.
- Ad interaction data: which ads are shown, viewed or clicked, and basic app usage needed to serve and measure ads.
- Diagnostics: basic performance and error information used by our advertising partners to keep their services working.
We may also receive:
- Purchase information: if you buy "Remove Ads", Apple or Google processes the payment. We receive confirmation that the purchase was made so we can unlock it, but we never see your name, payment card or billing details.
- Information you send us: if you contact support, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
- Aggregated statistics: Apple and Google give us anonymous, aggregated reports (such as download numbers and crash rates) for players who have chosen to share this with app developers.
2. How we use information
- To run, maintain and improve the Games.
- To show advertisements, including personalised ads where you have allowed it.
- To measure ad performance and prevent fraud.
- To unlock and restore your "Remove Ads" purchase.
- To fix bugs and crashes, using aggregated reports from Apple and Google.
- To reply to your support requests.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some sharing with advertising partners may count as "selling" or "sharing" under certain US state laws; see section 6.
3. Third-party services
Our Games use the following third-party services, which may collect information as described in their own privacy policies:
| Service | Purpose | Privacy policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Advertising | Google Privacy Policy |
| Unity Ads | Advertising | Unity Privacy Policy |
| Apple App Store / Google Play | App distribution and in-app purchases | Apple Privacy Policy / Google Privacy Policy |
4. Advertising and your choices
Apple devices (iOS / iPadOS)
On iOS 14.5 and later we ask for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt before accessing your IDFA for tracking. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", you will still see ads, but they will not be personalised using tracking across other companies' apps and websites. You can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
Android devices
You can reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in Settings > Google > Ads (the exact path may vary by device).
Users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we show a consent message (using Google's User Messaging Platform or a similar tool) when you first open the Game. It lets you accept or refuse personalised ads and related data processing. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy settings option in the Game. If you do not consent, you may see non-personalised ads.
5. Legal bases (EEA / UK users)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on:
- Consent: for personalised advertising.
- Contract: to provide your "Remove Ads" purchase.
- Legitimate interests: for running and securing the Games, fixing crashes, preventing ad fraud, and showing non-personalised ads.
- Legal obligation: where we must keep or disclose information by law.
6. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we or our partners hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw your consent.
- Receive a copy of your data (data portability).
- Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, or targeted advertising (for example under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and other US state laws). You can do this by turning off ad tracking on your device as described in section 4, or by contacting us.
- Complain to a data protection authority. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO); if you are in the EEA you can contact your local authority.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
7. Data retention and deletion
We keep information only for as long as needed for the purposes above. Data collected by our advertising partners is kept according to their own retention policies, linked in section 3. Game progress stays on your device and is removed when you uninstall the Game. Support emails are kept for as long as needed to resolve your request.
To request deletion of your data, email us at support@wigglewagglegames.com with the subject "Data deletion request" and include the name of the Game and the device type you play on. We will delete data we hold and ask our partners to do the same within 30 days. Uninstalling the Game stops all further data collection, and resetting your device's advertising ID breaks the link to previously collected advertising data.
8. Children's privacy
Our Games are designed for a general audience and are suitable for players of all ages, but they are not specifically directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If our partners are told that a user may be a child, ads are limited to non-personalised, family-friendly content. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@wigglewagglegames.com and we will delete it.
9. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
10. International transfers
Our partners may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, these transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above.
12. Contact us
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or your data, contact us at support@wigglewagglegames.com.
